ISNA | Ali Taghavi: Iran has launched a major pipeline to deliver up to 40 million cubic meters of natural gas to Northern provinces. Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh attended a ceremony on Tuesday to launch the project that is believed to render Iran needless of importing natural gas from Turkmenistan to feed its northern provinces. Known as the Damghan-Neka gas project, the pipeline can deliver up to 40 million cubic meters of gas per day to gas consumers in northern Iran.
