A political commentator says Saudi Arabia and the Israeli regime seek to form an uncontested alliance in the Middle East in an attempt to bring the entire region under their domination,Press TVreports.In a Thursday interview with Press TV, James Fetzer, a former professor at University of Minnesota Duluth, pointed to Riyadhs overt role in the latest crises in the region, particularly the Syrian unrest, and said the kingdom is now starting to play some of its cards in such an open fashion.
In the future, Saudi Arabia and the Israeli regime are likely to create an alliance to continue the destruction of the stable governments of the Middle East so that they can be uncontested and win domination over the region, Fetzer stated.
The Al Saud regime has been a major supplier of weapons and funds to the Takfiri groups operating against the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad since March 2011.
On November 13, reports said the kingdom has earmarked USD 300 million to finance a so-called transitional government for Syria, which is planned to be set up by the foreign-sponsored opposition.
Fetzer added that the Al Saud regime played an important role in the 9/11 attacks in New York, which were designed to draw the United States into the Middle East to depose the governments of seven different countries...for the benefit of Israel.
On November 6, Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi said Riyadh is responsible for the death and destruction throughout the Islamic world today, calling on the kingdom to stop its policy of sponsoring terrorism against Syria and other regional countries, such as Iraq, Lebanon, and Algeria.
