Anti-Iran lobbies tying to prevent breakthrough in nuclear talks, scholar
Tehran, Nov 3, IRNA An Iranian professor at Germanys Osnabrueck University said anti-Iran lobbies are trying to prevent nuclear talks from reaching positive outcomes.
Mohsen Masarrat told IRNA that the extremists in the US disfavor settlement of the nuclear dispute between Iran and the West.

He said these countries, along with the Zionist lobby, seek to portrait Iran as a country that it is responsible for all global problems.

The US extremists, he said, are trying to make the belief that the reason why the talks fail to reach a breakthrough is because Iran does not really want to accept the West demands.

Iran should not keep waiting during the coming next months because then it will confront furhter psychological pressure or likely military action, said the professor.

He added that following up the issue of formation of a conference on the Middle East free from nuclear weapons will foil the plots by the anti-Iran lobby.

Asked if to comemnt on the role of Zionist lobbies in preparing the conference, he said even in such circumstnces Iran has to participate in the event to present a reasonable proposal which would prove it is against proliferation of nuclear weapons.

In this way, he added, the Zionist regime would no longer be able to claim that its security is guaranteed only by holding nuclear weapons and thus deceive world states into continuing sanctions against Iran.

About the regional developments, the professor said the existing regional consensus on bringing about security to all regional states is the outcome of Irans efforts to that end.
