According to the contract signed on September 15, Iran handed over the management of two four and five star hotels of the airport to the French AccorHotels group, Irans Fars news agency reported.
The mid-scale Novotel IKIA and budget Ibis IKIA are scheduled to open next month and represent a total of 492 keys and are connected to Imam Khomeini global Airport.
Iran has also warmed up its ties with France and UK.
Headquartered in Paris, AccorHotels is the worlds sixth-largest hotel group with 3,700 hotels in 92 countries.

Irans Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Company (ICHTIC) has commissioned the contract and Mehdi Jahangiri, the chairman of ICHTICs board of directors told the reporters that the French will bring the service of the day to tourism industry of Iran.
Aria Ziggurat Tourism Development Co., a subsidiary of Semega, is the owning company of Novotel and ibis Ikia hotels.
Accor Hotels now manages 71 hotels (17,300 rooms) in the Middle East, spanning every segment from luxury to economy, in 10 countries: Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
