The governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced that readiness of Iran to launch a joint financial institution among member states of the BRICS.

According to The Iran Project, Iran’s Acting President Mohammad Mokhber, who is in Kazakhstan's capital Astana to attend the 24th Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, has held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the SCO meeting on Thursday.

According to The Iran Project, the 24th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is being held in the capital of Kazakhstan, with the presence of Iran’s Acting President, Mohammad Mokhber as well as the heads of state and officials from other member countries.

Russian President Vladimir Putin hailed the increase in trade turnover between his country and Iran.

Iran’s Acting President, Mohammad Mokhber has proposed the setting up a network of joint free zones within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and highlighted the potential of member states in expanding regional trade.
