Voicing concern over rising tensions in the Red Sea, China on Friday called on “all relevant parties” to avoid a further escalation of conflicts in the region.

Saudi Arabia stressed the importance of maintaining the security and stability of the Red Sea region on Friday, urging restraint and the avoidance of escalation as the US and UK carried out strikes on Yemen.

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has adopted a resolution against Yemen’s Anarullah resistance movement amid tensions in the Red Sea without addressing US support for the Zionist regime’s deadly war on Gaza as the root cause of the situation.
