Iran's Interior Ministry has announced the list of finally approved candidates for the upcoming presidential elections, with former Parliament Speaker and veteran politician Ali Larijani and former President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad disqualified.
According to The Iran Project, the registration of candidates for the 14th term of the presidential election has started on Thursday (May 30, 2024). The registration process continues for 5 days, it will take 7 days to check the qualifications and 14 days for campaign of the candidates. Voting for the presidential election will be held on June 28.
