Iran’s Navy chief Rear Admiral Shahram Irani has said that the Navy continuously monitors US aircraft carriers, 16 destroyers, and frigates in the region using reconnaissance drones.

A large-scale naval exercise, codenamed the “Caspian Maritime Rescue, Relief and Security 2024”, got underway in the Caspian Sea, involving military forces from Iran and Russia.

The Iranian naval forces have acquired military drones with state-of-the-art technologies, Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said.
