The two domestically-made satellites launched by Iran on Tuesday in cooperation with Russia have begun transmitting signals, indicating their perfect condition and orbiting.

In a milestone for Iran’s private space sector, satellites “Kowsar” and “Hodhod” were successfully launched into orbit aboard a Russian Soyuz launcher, marking the country’s initial private effort in satellite production and space deployment.

Iran plans to send into orbit two satellites, dubbed Kowsar and Hodhod, developed by the private sector, within days, using the Soyuz rockets.

The Iranian "Hod Hod" and "Kosar" satellites are schaduelled to be launched into Low Earth orbit from a Russian station.
