Iran’s oil production continued to rise in September despite a global decline in output and restrictions imposed on the country’s exports because of US sanctions.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has said that Iran’s daily oil production increased by 50,000 barrels per day(bpd) in April, hitting 3.3 million bpd.
The new statistics released by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) show that Iran's oil production in 2023 saw an increase of 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) in comparison to the previous year, reaching 3.1 million bpd.
