The Iranian Foreign Ministry denounced the sections of a recent statement by the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) of Ministers regarding the three Iranian islands, Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, and the Arash oil and gas field.

Sadegh Jokar, the head of Iran's Institute of International Energy Studies, has said that the claims of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia about the Arash oil field are not substantiated.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani reacted to Kuwait's claim about the Arash oil field made in the final statement of the Emir of Kuwait's visit to Egypt.
