Iranian female director Pouran Derakhshandehs latest dramaHush! Girls Dont Screamis set to compete at the18th Kerala International Film Festival (IFFK) in India.Derakhshandehs acclaimed movie is slated to be screened at the worlds cinema section of the event.
The film received a great attention from the movie goers during its public screening in Laemmle Movie Theater in Los Angeles as well as in Canada.
The leading Iranian director Derakhshandehs social drama was also hailed at the 44th Goa international Film Festival in India.
Derakhshandehs film tells the story of abused children and ignorant families who do not make enough time in their day to listen and solve their children's issue.
Sponsored by Irans Farabi Cinematic Foundation, the movie won Best Film Award at the 2012 Fajr International Film Festival.
