The relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Iraqi self- ruling region of Kurdistan will improve further, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan representative to Tehran Nazim Dabbagh said.Referring to Irans presidential election on Friday and the election of moderate president Hassan Rohani, Dabbagh said the ties would change with different people coming to power after new elections.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Rohani vowed to follow a path of moderation in Tehrans relation with other countries.
Irans is Kurdistan Regions biggest trade partner after Turkey.
