MNA The chairman of the Economic Commission in Irans Parliament says that Nov. 4 on which the second batch of US sanctions come into effect will turn into a scandal as the Americans have faced resistance from many countries.
Mohammad-RezaPour-Ebrahimi said that 13th day of the Iranian month of Aban (4 November) which marks the anniversary of the USembassy takeover in Tehran in 1979 and dubbed as Day of fighting arrogance, will turn into a scandal for the United States.
The new round of the US sanctions which target Irans oil exports and its access to the US dollarswill take effect on November the 4th (13 Aban).
These threats are not new to the Iranian nation, and we predict that nothing will happen to the Iranian economy as a result of the US sanctions, which is because the US is gradually falling into isolation, Pour-Ebrahimi underlined.
The Iranian lawmaker further said that with the steps taken by the Europeans, and actions by other countries such as China, Russia and India in relation to the US sanctions against Iran, the American Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had to acknowledge that they cannot cut Irans oil sales to zero by Novemer 4.
He, meanwhile, praised the steps taken by the Iranian oil ministry to circumvent the US sanctions by offering oil via stock exchange.
The chairman of the Economic Commission in Irans Parliament went on to say that the US will not succeed in isolating Iran through wagingan economic war, but the actions taken in the world show that the US will further isolate itself instead.
Pour-Ebrahimi pointed out that the Iranians will attend the 13 Aban rallies in larger numbers compared to the past this year.
