China supports JCPOA as important multilateral agreement

IRNA- China Ambassador to Tehran Pang Sen has hailed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as an 'important' international multilateral agreement and said all parties are required to implement it and China will also support it.


Pang Sen made the remark in a meeting with Kazem Jalali, Head of the Research Center of Iranian parliament on Monday.

The ambassador of China to Tehran, emphasized the government's policy in developing cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in a variety of areas, especially economic and commercial domains, saying that expanding relations in all fields and using parliamentary diplomacy will strengthen and sustain relations, especially in the economic field.

He recognized the need for mutual cooperation between the two countries and stated that economic and trade relations can play a constructive role in the development of the two countries' interactions.

Pang Sen expressed satisfaction with the expansion of China's relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying, 'The Islamic Republic of Iran has many capabilities and potentials to work together, and we hope that by expanding the level of exchanges between the two countries and providing the ground for more communication, the level of relations between the two countries will improve.'

Kazem Jalali also noted the importance of expanding ties between the two countries, saying that expanding relations between the two countries is necessary to promote the level of economic and political cooperation.

He expressed satisfaction with the expansion of parliamentary diplomacy and parliamentary cooperation, adding that parliamentary cooperation is an important backing for the development of relations in various fields, in particular economic relations, and Iranian parliament has supported the promotion of the level of relations between the two countries, especially in the economic, commercial and political affairs.
