IRNA � The Russian Duma and Iran�s Majlis (Parliament) held their joint cooperation commission meeting in the southwest Russian city of Volgograd on Thursday.


The meeting was attended by the chiefs of the Iranian and Russian parliaments.

The two sides during the meeting discussed bolstering mutual cooperation between Iran and Russia in various fields including enhancement of banking, economic, agricultural and transportation ties.

Iran�s Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei was also present in the meeting.

Larijani is currently in Volgograd to attend Iran-Russian parliamentary meeting expected to be held in Volgograd on September 7.
