Financial Tribune- Around 649,000 tons of pistachios were produced in Iran during the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), of which more than 131,000 tons were exported.

This was announced by Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, citing figures released by the Statistical Center of Iran and the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.

Vietnam, Hong Kong and Germany with around 25,000 tons, 18,800 tons and 12,800 tons of purchases respectively were Iran�s top three export destinations over the period.
