IRNA - Iran has handed over 100 Pakistani nationals to authorities at Pakistan-Iran Taftan border crossing in south western Balochistan province, Radio Pakistan reported.
The Pakistani nationals were arrested from different cities of Iran without valid documents.
The deportees would be handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further interrogation after completing initial inquiry.
Pakistanis living in Iran illegally or trying to enter Iran illegally are caught every year by Iranian security forces.
Iranian authorities have been often deporting Pakistanis entering their country illegally.
Earlier Pakistan foreign ministry spokesperson Muhammad Faisal had said that Iran and Pakistan are engaged in strengthening cooperation on border management to stop the illegal movement of immigrants.
