SHANA -- Fajr Jam Gas Refinery processed one billion cubic meters of natural gas in Aban (the 8th month in the Iranian calendar- October 23-Novemebr 21).

According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the plant's managing director said the facility is prepared to operate at maximum capacity in the cold in order to supply gas to the national gas trunkline.

Hadi Hashemzadeh Farhang has said the plant processed 1.4 bcm during the month and injected it to the national gas trunkline.

He said all the refinery's sweetening units are online after a recent overhaul.

The plant also yielded 460,000 barrels of gas condensate and over 3,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) during the period.
