Iran, Romania to exchange deeds, manuscripts

IRNA Head of Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Documents and Library Center and the president of Technology Center of Romanian Sciences Academy reached an agreement on Thursday to exchange documents and manuscripts pertaining to Islam and Iran.


The Iranian official Ali Emad, who is visiting Romania, in a meeting with George Fillip discussed promoting collaboration between the two centers.

The Iranian delegation visited samples of written works on the history of Islam and Iran as well as scientific, Quranic, philosophical and research documents on display in the Books and Manuscripts of Romania Academy.

Given the originality of the documents maintained in the Library of Romanian Academy, Iranian delegation voiced readiness for exchanging digital copies of the Iranian researchers works dating back to earlier centuries.

Romania is a sovereign state located in Southeastern Europe. Its capital and largest city is Bucharest.
