King Abdullah of Jordan has branded ISIL militants as savage outlaws of religion, devoid of humanity, French media wrote on Tuesday.
During an official visit to Kosovo, Abdullah said both Europe and Islam were under attack from the "scourge" of terrorism that could strike anywhere and at any time.
"We are facing a third world war against humanity and this is what brings us all together," the King told a press conference, Agence France-Presse reported.
"So therefore we must act fast and holistically to tackle and respond to the interconnected threats whether it is in this region, Africa, Asia or in Europe," he added.
In France's worst-ever terror attacks, ISIL gunmen and suicide bombers murdered 129 people in coordinated onslaughts in Paris on Friday night.
Muslim-majority Jordan is, like France, a member of the US-led coalition battling the group, which controls swathes of land in neighboring Iraq and Syria.

Not sure if the King has developed amnesia, Jordan was one of the countries where these militants received training to fight assad. Also Iraq's baathist were trained in Jordan to fight in Iraq against the Shia run government of Iraq. Saudi and Gulf States are also to blame for this mess including Turkey. As Putin put it, 40 countries were supplying and financing ISIS/Daesh. During the recent G20 meeting he shared satellite photos showing long queues of oil tanker trucks getting ready to fill up with illegal oil from Daesh captured oil fields both in Syria and Iraq.
