Tunisia, Aug 31, IRNA -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called on all Muslim countries to get united against extremism.
'Today the main battle is between extremism and moderation and all Muslim countries should become united against extremism in a single front,' Zarif said in a meeting with his Tunisian counterpart Taieb Baccouche in Tunis on Monday.
Zarif and Baccouche met in the Tunisian capital today. During the meeting the two sides discussed mutual cooperation and finding ways for regional crises.
The top Iranian diplomat labeled extremism and terrorism as a big danger for the Muslim society, and called for a halt in foreign interferences in regional crises.
'Dialogue should become the basis for resolving the regional crises and any help should be in line with easing the path of dialogue,' the Iranian foreign minister said.
Zarif pointed out that there should be no conditions for holding talks and the political process in Syria, Yemen and other regions.
