Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA � Thirteen countries have so far announced their readiness to participate in International Takhti Cup Wrestling Competitions slated for February 12-13.
��The upcoming event includes two sections of free and Greco-Roman wrestling.
The US, Azerbaijan Republic, Japan, India, China, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, North Korea, Georgia, Bangladesh, Iraq, Egypt and Costa Rico have so far applied for participating in the event.

The first, second and third teams will be awarded cash prizes of 10,000, 7,000 and 5,000 dollars respectively.

Gholam Reza Takhti, after whom the competition has been named, was an Iranian Olympic gold-medalist wrestler.
