Six-month Saudi-led coalition's consistent pounding of Yemen, shows that the aggression has failed to achieve its preset goals, as the firm resistance of the Yemeni people in the face of collapsing Saudi-led coalition has proved its weakness.
In spite of all efforts made by media and the officials of the member states of coalition to draw their nations support for the aggression against Yemen, after Yemeni forces fatal missile attack on a military base used by the invading Arab forces in Yemen's Marrib province, in which a large number of the coalition countries troops were killed, the reports speak of people and elites' anger, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
Last week, Egypt and Sudan denied the rumors about deployment of troops into Yemen. The countries denial, once again, proved Saudi-backed media claims on the war in Yemen to be unauthentic, as it proved that the Saudi-led coalitions member states are not absolutely obedient to Saudi regime. Moreover, the informed Arab sources speak of deep and hidden differences between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, two major countries of the coalition. In addition, the UAE in a provocative move has published a new map of its lands to which some parts of the Saudi soil are added.
The resources suggest that the Saudi officials were outraged at the Emirati move, and they are deeply concerned over UAEs possible exploitation of the tense conditions which Saudi Arabia is trapped in. however, Al Saud tries to mask the case, only demanding the UAE officials for explanation.
Actually the divisions among Saudi Arabia and the UAE have a historical record, as Saudi Arabia which welcomed the 1971 British withdrawal from Persian Gulf region, has not recognized the UAE yet.
Moreover, Kuwait as part of the Arab coalition has refused demands to deploy ground troops to Yemen to assist the Saudi forces, a decision which has made the Saudis react severely, blaming the Kuwaitis for discordance and disobedience. Despite the fact that Saudi Arabia has assisted Kuwait in the time of Saddam Hussein invasion in 1991, the Kuwaiti officials have announced that they were not intending to send troops to Yemen for supporting the the Saudi assault on Yemen, because Kuwait has paid high costs for its aids for Iraqi war against Iran in 1988.
On the other hand, Saudi-led coalition is not only faced with inter-states challenges, but participant in anti-Yemen coalition are also dealing with domestic protest against their war on Yemen. For example, after death of 52 Emirati troops in Yemeni forces missile attack, the UAE's media have reported that there are rising objections among the public calling for an end to the countys participation in Saudi-les coalition.
Moreover, Emirati media have disclosed existence of a set of differences and conflicts among the Saudi ruling family on how to end the unsuccessful aggression against Yemen.
