Marziyeh Afkham on Wednesday offered Iran?s sincere condolences to Turkish nation and government over an explosion at a coal mine in the western Turkish province of Manisa.
She also called for patience of the families of the victims and forgiveness of the departed souls.
The explosion and fire in the coal mine killed at least 200 miners and trapped hundreds more on Tuesday, with the death toll expected to rise in the country?s worst mining accident for more than two decades.
A faulty electrical transformer is believed to have caused the explosion.
