ILNA: The helicopters of Iran�s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy are equipped with �Nasr-1� invisible missiles and cruise missiles.


The �Nasr� missiles are capable of destroying short-range targets, according to the information.

Most of the helicopters of the IRGC First naval flotilla near Bandar Abbas city are also equipped with invisible �Nasr-1� missiles.

Iran first tested �Nasr-1� missile during a military exercise in 2008, and mass production of these missiles started in 2010.

The �Nasr-1� missile can destroy a target with a weight up to 3000 tons at a distance up to 35 kilometres.

The missile is launched from ships and boats, but can also be easily modified to be fired from helicopters and fighters.
