TEHRAN, Jan. 27 (MNA) Turkish daily Todays Zaman has reported that Prime Minister Recep TayyipErdo?an is scheduled to pay a visit to Iran at the end of January to boost bilateral ties even further.The report assessed the move as intended to develop Iran and Turkeys relations further, that comes following Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif's one-day visit to Turkey on Saturday, as Ankara and Tehran plan sign a strategic cooperation agreement.
As Erdo?ans first such visit after Hassan Rouhani assumed power, the visit will be a bid to work out a strategic agreement with Iran, as many observers believe, which would be unprecedented agreement in its own kind.
The report also had it that the removal of sanctions would provide Turkey with an opportunity to boost its trade with Iran.
In the past, Iran and Turkeys different positions on Syrian crisis created degrees of tension in bilateral relations. For example, in 2012 Iran withdrew a visit by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, then the president, to Turkey and meeting with Erdo?an.
The report also wrote that Hassan Rouhani would visit Turkey in next month according to Irans policy of extending ties with Turkey.
