Varzaghan, East Azarbaijan, Jan 11, IRNA -- Governor of Kharvana in East Azarbaijan Davood Amnzadeh said on Saturday that Georgian traders have planned to invest some dlrs 40 million over Andarian gold mine.
Speaking to IRNA, he said despite of the economic sanction Iran successfully prepared a well-equipped and modern gold factory.
Share of Georgia is 90 percent while share of Iran stands at 10 percent.
The new gold mine is about 120 hectare in the province, he said.
Some dlrs 15 million has been spent for feasibility studies and the project is expected to absorb over 600 workers directly or indirectly, Aminzadeh said.
