Iran-Pakistan exports up by 16% in first three months

The Iran Project : The export volume from Iran to Pakistan increased by 16% in the first three months of the current year (January to March).

According to The Iran Project,According to the latest information from the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, Iran’s exports to the Asian country reached $286 million in the first quarter of the year, representing a 16% growth compared to the same period last year.

Pakistan imported goods valued at $247 million during the same period last year.

In the third month of 2024, Pakistan’s imports from Iran grew by 25% compared to the same period last year, reaching $95.6 million.

Iran is now considered Pakistan’s ninth source of imports as of March 2024.

Recently, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi visited Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad, for an official two-day visit. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Tehran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, emphasized that this visit signifies the strong bonds between the two nations and the alignment of their authorities in various aspects.
