IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message on Wednesday slammed the US breach of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action over the past year, saying Iran is honoring the JCPOA terms.
'On May 8 2018, US withdrew from #JCPOA, violated #UNSCR 2231 & pressured othersincl #E3to do the same After a year of patience, Iran stops measures that US has made impossible to continue Our action is within the terms of JCPOA,' Zarif wrote in his Twitter account on Wednesday.
He added 'EU/E3+2 has a narrowing window to reverse this.'
Iranian Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) in a statement announced that Iran has stopped some of its commitments under the JCPOA as of May 8, 2019.
Over the past year and after US illegal withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and its breach of the UN Security Council Resolution 2231, the Islamic Republic of Iran has shown most of its self-restraint and has given considerable opportunity on requests made by other parties to JCPOA, the statement reads.
Zarif earlier said Iran's future actions will be completely in the context of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and Tehran will not pull out of the nuclear deal.
He added that articles 26 and 36 of the JCPOA authorize Iran and of course other members not to implement partly or completely their commitments if any party did not comply.
