Leader strongly criticizes Saudis' attrocities in Yemen

IRNA The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei strongly condemned Saudis bombardment of the defenseless people of Yemen, saying that the Saudi rulers would not win the war even if they continue their bombings for the next 20 years.


'This is a crime against a defenseless and innocent people and would have no conclusion,' added the Leader while addressing a huge gathering of mourners at the late Imam Khomeinis mausoleum in southern Tehran, where they gathered to commemorate 28th anniversary of the sad departure of the Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini.

Ayatollah Khamenei also slammed military presence of the Saudi Arabia in Bahrain.

The people of Bahrain and their rulers should resolve problems through dialogue, said the Leader adding that Riyadhs presence in Bahrain is unreasonable.

Why should a foreign military government interfere to make policy. Saudis should not impose their will on Bahraini people, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed.

As for the Syrian crisis, the Leader said, Presence of foreign countries in Syria which is against the will of the Syrian nation is wrong. The issue of Syria too should be resolved through dialogue.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that enemy is waging proxy wars in Syria, Bahrain and Yemen as well as other places in the Islamic World.
The solution is to negotiate together and stop injecting arms from outside.

The Leader further pointed to recent terrorist attacks across the world and said that currently the terrorist group of Daesh is coming out of its birthplace and going to involve those countries that had created it.
