December 6, The Iran Project The CEO of the Germanys TÜV Süd Co. office in Tehran says they have started working with a large Iranian automaker company to improve the safety and auditing of their cars.
Germanys TÜV Süd Co., having 150 years of experience in providing sustainable specialized solutions in the areas of quality, service testing, auditing and certification, training and consulting, opened its representative in Tehran two months ago, said the CEO of the Germanys TÜV Süd Co. office in Tehran on Tuesday.
Referring to TÜV Süds cooperation with the Iranian automaker company, he stated that the cars will be inspected for reducing exhaust gases and air pollution in major cities.
To improve industry and transfer of technology and know-how to Irans industries, TÜV Süd has recently signed an agreement with Iran's Industrial Development and Renovation Organization (IDRO), he noted.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to TÜV Süds cooperation with Irans Sharif University of Technology in the field of air quality control, adding the company is also going to work with the Iranian part makers to pave the way for Irans export of auto parts to European countries.
