Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejads famous jacket has sold for 54 million tomans at auction, Irans semi-official news agency Mehr reported.A CBS News correspondent on Iran asked Ahmadinejad for his jacket at a news conference last year.
According to the Iranian website, the Iranian Presidents famous jacket, which is considered as a symbol of simple lifestyle, had earlier been sold at auction for 54 million tomans.
In 2011, a 1977 Peugeot sedan belonging to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was sold for 2.5 billion tomans ($2.5 million) in a charity auction.
