Moscow, Sept 23, IRNA Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said on Wednesday that Iran supports resolution of all the issues of Middle East countries through diplomatic means.
Amir-Abdollahian, who is visiting Moscow, made the remarks in an exclusive interview with IRNA.
Referring to UN-brokered negotiations underway among Yemeni groups, Amir-Abdollahian called on warring groups in Yemen to put an end to the conflict and solve their problems at the table.
Touching upon the crises in Syria and Iraq, the deputy foreign minister underlined the need for putting an end to the crises in these two countries, saying, Iran provides support to Iraq and Syria in the fight against terrorism and extremism within the framework of international regulations.
He noted that Tehran and Moscow have close views on issues related to West Asia and Middle East developments and enjoy good and lasting cooperation.
