Tehran, April 8, IRNA Foreign Ministry on Wednesday summoned Saudi Arabian charge d'affaires to Tehran over the sexual harassment of two Iranian teenage boys by the Saudi policemen at Jeddah airport.
Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said that Iran has lodged a complaint with the Saudi government to address the case and bring the culprits to justice.
Afkham said that Saudi officials have pledged to investigate the case at the earliest.
The spokeswoman said that based on the latest feedback from Iranian Consulate-General in Jeddah, the lawsuit has been sent to the Saudi Court of Justice.
She said that Foreign Ministry would explore every avenue to demand the Saudi government to bring to justice the policemen at the airport.
