Iran owns satellite launcher know-how: Commander

Tehran, March 16, IRNA - Chief of Staff of Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said Iran lacks no technologies in its satellite launchers.




Talking to IRNA on Monday, he outlined Irans capabilities in aerospace areas and said building satellites and satellite launchers are two different issues.

He said Iranian scientists with various skills are involved in making satellites.

Iran has launched four satellites so far using its locally-produced satellite carriers.

The general also said Iran provides consultation to Muslim countries.

He said Iran will certainly rush to the help of its Muslim brothers if it sees people say in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon and Egypt are attacked by enemies.
