Irans Vice-President for Science and Technology Affairs Sorena Sattari[/caption]TEHRAN Feb 23(Shana)--Knowledge-based economy is the best alternative to falling oil revenues, Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari said.
Speaking at the fifth edition of National Conference on Science in Tehran, Sattari said knowledge-based economy could generate revenues and create jobs for the country as well as boosting economic activities.
Sattari said that Innovation and Development Fund has been able to provide funds for many companies.
The government backs knowledge-based economy and we should show that this kind of economy is very important for the country, he said.
