Istanbul, Dec 17, IRNA - Head of the Department of Environment Masoomeh Ebtekar, heading a delegation, arrived here on Wednesday to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Ministerial Meeting on Environment.
During the day-long meeting, the ministers will study and ratify the draft resolution of the two-day ECO expert-level gathering which was wrapped up on December 16.
ECO is an intergovernmental organization involving seven Asian and three Eurasian nations, part of the South-Central Asian Union.
The 10 members of ECO include Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
