IRNA � President-elect Hassan Rouhani arrived in Qom on Thursday and conferred with a number of Ulema on issues of mutual interest.

Rouhani met with Ayatollahs Safi Golpaygani, Vahid Khorasani, Shobeir Zanjani and Makarem Shirazi in Qom on Thursday.

Rouhani�s meetings with the Ulema in Qom were in the absence of reporters.

A number of local officials accompany Rouhani during his stay in the city.
