IRNA – President-elect Hassan Rouhani arrived in Qom on Thursday and conferred with a number of Ulema on issues of mutual interest.

Rouhani met with Ayatollahs Safi Golpaygani, Vahid Khorasani, Shobeir Zanjani and Makarem Shirazi in Qom on Thursday.

Rouhani’s meetings with the Ulema in Qom were in the absence of reporters.

A number of local officials accompany Rouhani during his stay in the city.
