TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran is ready to share its economic experiences with Iraq, said Iranian Trade Minister Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh on Tuesday.

Addressing a group of Iranian and Iraqi businessmen in Baghdad, Nematzadeh said Islamic Republic of Iran has obtained valuable experiences in various fields of economic development and reconstruction of infrastructures, saying Tehran is ready to share its experiences with Baghdad.

He added the balance of Iran-Iraq bilateral economic exchanges is not acceptable and should be increased.

Nematzadeh said holding specialized fairs is a good step in developing industrial, trade, and scientific relations.

He referred to his talks with Iraqi officials and expressed the hope that the negotiations would be fruitful.

Iran's first Vice-President Eshaq Jahangir and his accompanying delegation are on a three-day visit to Iraq at the invitation of Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi.

Iran and Iraq have enjoyed growing ties ever since the overthrow of the former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein, during the 2003 US invasion of the Muslim country.
