Earlier onSunday, Reuters reported citing unnamed officials that Tehran had indicated willingness tocut the number ofcentrifuges it uses toless than6,000 and toship most ofits enriched uranium stockpiles toRussia forstorage.
Currently Tehran and P5+1 group ofinternational negotiators comprising Russia, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, France and Germany are holding talks onIranian nuclear program inLausanne, Switzerland.
The sides aspire toreach a comprehensive agreement that would ensure the peaceful nature ofIranian nuclear activities bythe end ofJune, 2015. The accords are expected tostipulate cutting the number ofcentrifuges Tehran uses toenrich uranium.
Initially, Tehran insisted onhaving atleast 10,000 centrifuges, buton February the United States proposed tocut this number to6,500.
