Sajjad Hashemi won the gold medal of the 400-meter competition in 2022 Turkey International Track and Field Competitions.

Sajjad Hashemi recorded the 44.96 second time for the 400-meter indoor race to win the games gold medal.

Iran’s best previous record for the 200-meter race was 44.95 seconds, belonging to Ali Khadivar from Kish Island, and Hashemi’s new International record is only one 100th of second improved.
