Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein AmirAbdollahian on Saturday morning in a phone talk with his Azeri counterpart discussed the latest regional developments.

Tehran-Baku bilateral relations were other topics discussed between Amir-Abdollahian and�Jeyhun Bayramov.

The two Iranian and top Azeri diplomats also held a phone conversation on November 15.��AmirAbdollahian, during the phone talk, reiterated that respecting the sovereignty of countries is an important and basic principle that must be taken into consideration.

Bayramov, for his part, emphasized the need for bolstering bilateral relations and removing misunderstandings.
