Iran’s negotiating team to leave Tehran for Vienna within hours

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kan’ani said on Wednesday that the Iranian negotiating team is scheduled to leave the Iranian capital for Vienna within hours.

The Iranian team will be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri Kani.

Kan’ani said that this round of talks will be coordinated by the European Union as the previous rounds of negotiations and that the talks will be focused on reviewing the viewpoints put forward by Iran and other participants to the talks – known as P4+1.

Reiterating Iran’s resolve for reaching a sustainable deal that will guarantee the rights and interests of the Iranian nation, the Iranian spokesman expressed hope that the other parties will also pave the way for the progress of the talks by taking the necessary decisions to solve the remaining issues.
