ranian Oil Ministry is planning to revive 10,000 job positions that were cut during a former administration in the country, according to deputy oil minister Mehdi Ali Madadi who insists the jobs would be key to future development projects in the Iranian oil sector.
Ali Madadi said on Sunday that reviving thousands of jobs cut over the past years would mostly benefit people living in areas where the petroleum industry has a major presence.
He said the decision to cut the job had created a major challenge for the realization of the objectives of the oil industry in Iran.
“Considering the needs of the Oil Ministry’s subsidiary companies the removed (job) positions will be restored,” said the official who is in charge of Oil Ministry’s human resources department.
