Iran petroleum minister leaves Tehran for Muscat

SHANA — Iranian Minister of Petroluem Bijan Zangeneh left Tehran for Muscat to engage in energy talks with Omani officials.

He departed the Iranian capital on Friday being accompanied with a delegation of senior Iranian oil executives.

On Thursday he hosted a meeting with the visiting OPEC Secretary General Mohammed Barkindo, who has travelled to Tehran to visit the 24th Iran Oil Show.
