Iran among 5 countries with high growth in digital economy: Official

IRNA - Deputy Director for Development and Management of Irans Vice President for Science and Technology said now 25% of the world's economy is digital while highlighting that statistics shows Iran is among the five countries with high growth in this field.

'The digital economy and the advancement of various technologies have so far accelerated in the world so traditional economies are becoming a modern economy,' Alireza Daliri said on Wednesday addressing the 13th National Conference on E-Teaching and E-Learning at Khajeh Nasir al-Din Tousi University.

The world's largest companies previously were companies like automakers, but now ICT companies have outstripped these companies.
