Unknown people kill 2 police officers in SW Iran

IRNA – Unknown people’s shooting toward a police car in Bandar-e Emam Khomeini, Khuzestan Province has claimed the lives of two police officers, deputy police commander of Khuzestan said.

Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Saturday, Colonel Ali Qasempour said that the Conscript Mohammad Reza Rafeie and the Lieutenant Allah Nazar Safari succumbed to injuries after being transferred to the hospital.

He added that investigations are underway for finding the assailants.

Details of the accident will be released by police soon, he noted.
