IRNA � The 12th International Exhibition of Goods, Services, Store Equipment and Chain Stores (Iran Shop 2019) started in the Iran International Exhibition on Wednesday.

Iran Shop 2019 will host 70 Iranian and foreign companies from January 2-5.

The goals of the exhibition are supporting Iranian goods, promoting the goods and services, developing export, introducing the goods that are capable of competing with foreign ones, easy shopping, triggering competition, enhancing the culture of shopping from chain stores to reduce air pollution and fuel consumption, preventing wasting time, organized monitoring of health goods, valuing and monitoring prices.

In the inauguration ceremony of the event, the head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Mohammad Reza Modoudi referred to the $1,200bn import market of the region and added in order to use the potential, Iran needs founding chain stores in other countries.
